Avondale Road is a quiet street in Croydon with Georgian-style large terraced houses on both sides of the street. Our clients approached us to help them in achieving their vision of creating interior spaces to suit their modern lifestyle but with a classic twist and dark colours with contrast to create a luxurious interior. The key challenge in achieving this vision was the tight budget and also existing space planning. We mainly focused on space optimization first to achieve the best flow between the spaces to match our client’s modern lifestyle and then worked on the design style which follows the exterior character of the building into interior spaces. With dark panelling, feature flooring and contracting and vibrant colours, the whole design come together with smooth-flowing spaces throughout.
