Nestled in the heart of Chelsea, this two-story maisonette underwent a radical transformation to become the London residence for an international celebrity. The design brief was a cultural dialogue: a request to fuse the client’s French heritage with the distinct architectural character of England.

Our team executed a major structural overhaul, including a two-story rear extension that redefined the home’s footprint. By utilizing a minimalist palette of neutral tones and natural materials, we established a serene, modern French aesthetic. This was punctuated by the industrial elegance of English Crittall doors, creating a unique design language that feels both cosmopolitan and grounded.

The heart of the home is an expansive open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. A new balcony overlooks a minimalist French-style patio, with a bespoke external staircase providing a seamless flow between the levels, offering a private sanctuary in the centre of the city.
