Avondale Road is a soulful reimagining of a traditional Edwardian residence. Rejecting the typical trend of bright, white galleries, our client’s brief was bold and specific: to embrace a dark, atmospheric palette that evokes the timeless charm of a private member’s club in the English countryside.

Our design team worked to enhance the property’s original Edwardian proportions while reintroducing historic architectural details throughout the interior. By layering deep, rich tones with classic textures, we created a sequence of calming, cocoon-like spaces. The result is a home of profound character—a sophisticated retreat that feels both historic and deeply personal, tailored specifically to the client’s vision of “country-club” luxury within the city.
